Align for Favor

Favor is not earned; it is received. Favor is a gift called grace, and grace is unmerited favor from God (Ephesians 2:8). God does not show favoritism; rather, faith activates the favor of God in your life. Where there is faith, favor flows.
Favor comes from alignment with God. When you are aligned with His will, His presence, and His purpose, favor follows. Misalignment doesn’t cancel your purpose, but it can delay the manifestation of favor. Obedience brings alignment, and alignment positions you for favor.
We see this clearly in
Genesis 39:1–4
Joseph prospered because the Lord was with him, and that divine presence caused favor to rest on his life. Favor is rooted in grace and revealed through purpose. When you live out God’s purpose for your life, favor becomes visible.
Jonah’s story, however, reminds us that fleeing from God’s instruction leads to misalignment. “Jonah flee’s away from the presence of the Lord” (Jonah 1:3). His delay did not cancel God’s call, but it did place him in the belly of the fish until he realigned with God’s will.
Alignment in love, faith, and obedience precedes everything. Favor originates from God alone, and when you are aligned with Him, favor becomes your shield. You were made for better; stay aligned, and favor will follow.
Quote from Pastor Matt to yourself: “I am made for favor” ♥️
