Beyond the barriers and walls we build after being hurt, God still calls us closer. His love looks different from the love of the world, it welcomes the obedient servant, the broken, the blind, and those still finding their way. The message of the sermon was simple yet powerful: *there is room for you in God’s presence.* The Kingdom of God is not closed to broken people, and no matter your past, pain, or shortcomings, God still makes room for you.

God is closer than a brother, and a life lived in proximity to Him produces peace even in the middle of life’s challenges. Jesus, the Prince of Peace, reminds us to hold onto our peace no matter how chaotic life becomes. Life is not about mastering everything, but about following the Master. Even when people do not have all the answers, we can still point one another back to Christ.

Through the Gospel of John, Jesus says, *“Come and see,”* inviting us not into religion, but into relationship. God desires more than followers, He desires friendship and closeness with us. Like Jeremiah’s posture of surrender: “May Your word come to me.”

* Unity requires letting go of ego.

* Peace is found in closeness to Jesus.

* Even 10 focused minutes with God can shift your entire day.

* Hurt may build walls, but God’s love tears barriers down.

* No matter where you are in life, there is still room for you with God.
