One of the hardest lessons of faith is learning that God’s silence is not His absence, and His delay is not His denial.
Abraham waited years before he held the son God had promised. Joseph watched his dreams disappear into a pit and a prison before they led him to a palace. David was anointed king, yet spent years running for his life before ever wearing the crown. Peter failed in his darkest moment, yet Jesus restored him and entrusted him with His Church.
Different stories. Different struggles. One faithful God.
We often measure God’s faithfulness by how quickly He answers, but God measures His faithfulness by His commitment to finish what He starts. While we are counting days, He is shaping character. While we are wondering where He is, He is preparing what comes next.
If your promise feels delayed, don’t lose heart. Waiting is not wasted when God is involved. His timing is never late, even when it stretches our faith.
The same God who made the promise is the God who will fulfill it. He has not forgotten you. He has not abandoned you. And He has not changed His mind.
Delay is not denial. God is still writing your story, and He always finishes what He starts.
